As a Design & Estimation Engineer – LV Switchgear at Oryxwork, you will play a critical role in designing low-voltage electrical panels, preparing competitive cost estimates, and supporting project execution from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical documents to define design requirements.
  • Design LV switchgear panels including:
    • MCC, PCC, APFC, AMF Systems
    • PDB, Control & Relay Panels
    • PLC / DCS Panels
  • Prepare base designs, detailed engineering drawings, technical submittals, and O&M manuals.
  • Ensure designs comply with IEC standards and customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyze Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and prepare accurate project cost estimates.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to achieve optimal cost and technical compliance.
  • Prepare project budgets and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Develop compliance statements, technical datasheets, and catalogues.
  • Track design submittal approvals and implement revisions based on customer or consultant feedback.
  • Release material purchase requests and coordinate with procurement teams.
  • Provide approved drawings and engineering inputs to the Production / File Management teams.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, OEMs, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Support project delivery timelines, including working extended hours when required.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and EPLAN Electric P8.
  • Strong understanding of LV switchgear components and OEMs such as:
    • Eaton, Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Legrand
  • Experience in busbar sizing and electrical calculations for engineered-to-order LV switchboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments

Operations Accounts Executive

The Backend Operations & Accounts Executive is responsible for executing and managing end-to-end backend operational and finance support activities including timesheet management, invoicing, transportation purchase orders, breakdown coordination, payroll inputs, and MIS reporting. The role ensures accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality, and smooth coordination between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Prepare, validate, and maintain daily and monthly timesheets received from operations teams and clients.
  • Generate customer invoices based on approved timesheets and contractual terms.
  • Track sales and purchase invoices and maintain invoice control registers.
  • Create and process transportation purchase orders and ensure alignment with agreed rates.
  • Coordinate breakdown-related activities by sending emails, tracking responses, and ensuring closure.
  • Maintain operator salary sheets and support payroll processing with accurate inputs.
  • Reconcile invoices, payments, and operational data to identify discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  • Ensure all backend data is updated in ERP systems and Excel trackers.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for all financial and operational transactions.
  • Coordinate with vendors, finance teams, and operations for issue resolution.
  • Follow defined SLAs and escalate risks or delays proactively.
  • Support transition activities including processing documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of financial and personnel data.
  • Microsoft Excel (basic and advanced trackers, reconciliation sheets)
  • ERP / Accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent)
  • Email and collaboration tools
  • Document repositories and shared folders
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Operations.
  • Experience:
    • 2–3 years of experience for Executive-level roles handling intermediate activities.
    • Senior Executive / Lead roles require experience in handling advanced and expert-level activities.
